Description
Carved out a design on a slab of clay. Illustration was linked to the poem by e.e. cummings entitled anyone lived in a pretty how town. The poem talks about the cycle of life, and reminds me of the little town I live in and love.

This isn't the type of art I usually do, a group of art teachers got together for a play in the clay day, and we had a blast. We were challenged to create a piece to illustrate a poem or story. Glass beads melted in the kiln and went everywhere...surprise! That's what makes clay so fun. The photo was as charming as the actual piece so I decided to share it here.
