If picture paints a thousand words, this is it! The model is my artist friend Fiona. I wanted to illustrate her giving loving nature, and the importance she places on also caring for herself. Anytime to give, something returns to you - sometimes 10 fold. She give flowers, and keeps some for herself. Beauty surrounds her. I admire her, because she has come through so many hard things and here she is today. Amazing to her core!

This painting is 36x48 inches. The idea for this composition began several years ago, with the drawing the resulted in the 9x12 painting posted to the right. The small one (original) was sold to a woman in California, but just before I sold it I showed it to my friend Fiona. That's when I knew she need to model for me, and the idea needed to be big and glorious. I hope I have succeeded!!!
